Artistic Journey

This attention to detail is deeply personal. During my recent recovery from Guillain-Barré Syndrome, art became my physical therapy and my solace. Every stroke represented a step forward, and every finished piece a testament to the belief that true beauty and healing cannot be rushed.
For me, art is an invitation to slow down. I specialize in "Slow Art," using a distinctive mixed-media process that blends vibrant Copic Sketch markers with the precision of Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils on Fabriano Mixed Media Paper.

I start with an alcohol ink base to flood the paper with glowing color, then spend weeks layering oil-based pencils on top.
This specialized burnishing technique transforms colored pencil and ink into something that looks like rich oil paint, creating pieces that are built to last.

Commissioning an artwork is a collaborative journey. Whether you are looking for a bespoke botanical study to match your home or a conceptual piece with deep personal meaning, I work closely with you to translate your vision into a timeless work of art.

The Concept: Share your idea, color palette, or reference photos with me.

The Process: Once approved, I begin the slow process of layering ink and pencil. I will keep you updated as the piece evolves.

The Result: You receive a one-of-a-kind, archival artwork created specifically for you.

Exhibition 2025

In February 2025, the month of love, I had the honor of hosting my first exhibition at Trixie's Cafe. Just months earlier, this milestone felt impossible.

The collection began without a plan, just me, drawing day after day to find my way back. Drawing through the pain and discomfort, creating was far more important and perhaps even necessary.
Slowly, those hours of uncertainty transformed into a body of work representing beauty, fear, acceptance, perseverance, and triumph.

The response was overwhelming. I was met with excitement and so many questions about my work and my journey.
Most of the pieces found new homes, and I was surrounded by the incredible support of my family and friends.
To my delight, even the hospital physiotherapist who helped me learn to move and stand again visited my exhibition and even purchased 'The Eternal Rose'.
This was more than an art show; it was my 'Healing Collection.' A celebration of life, love, and transformation.
